MINUTES
1st day
During the first day, the participants visited “Branko Radicevic” elementary school and the Municipality of Bujanovac
(Throughout the whole of the mobility, the use of the English language was necessary for the communication among the participants)
(At school, all the partners found the presents, among which, there were the bags with the project logo that helped students with the activities that followed. They were welcomed by the school principal’s speech and, later on, they gave the presentations on their countries, cities, schools etc. After the official part of the welcoming, the coordinators and the partners mutually exchanged the gifts, had a chance to get to know each other, took some photos, had the school detour, and went on having the workshops together).

Workshops
Venue: “Branko Radicevic” elementary school, Bujanovac Getting to know each other, pt. 1 workshop Venue: “Branko Radicevic” elementary school, Bujanovac The first workshop was attended by both, the teachers and the students. 1. “Energy in my name” Trainer: Dunja Pavlovic, student The main aim of the game is remembering as many names as possible. The game helps the group getting more relaxed and less shy through some fun. The participants form a circle where they come to the center, one by one, shouting their name and striking any pose they can think of. The rest of the group does the same; they repeat the participant’s name and strike the same pose. The game is finished after all the participants shouted their names and struck the pose. |

2. “The circles”
Trainer: Mrs Marija Stojkovic
The main aim of the game is getting to know the participants mutually.
Apart from breaking the timidity, the game also includes communication in the English language.
The group forms two circles, inner and outer. The participants from the two circles are standing opposite each other and form pairs. When the time is called, each pair has thirty seconds for asking and replying to as many questions as they can. After the time is up, the outer circle moves one place on the right, so the pairs can change. The game lasts until the participants make the full circle.
After the first workshop, the students and the teachers were split.

3. “The cards” Trainers: Mrs Marija Stojkovic, Mr Sladjan Kitanovic Group: Students The main aim of the game is getting to know as many persons as one can. Also, the game includes certain physical contact which helps the group getting even more relaxed and less shy. Having broken the ice with the first game, the participants from Serbia, Poland, Turkey, Spain and Romania had a chance to find out a bit more about the group because the cards covered the topics on the physical features, personal interest, etc. The cards with the previously well thought of questions are placed in the center of the circle that the group formed. The volunteer comes to the circle, reads the question or the task out loud and tries to find the particular person by approaching others and asking the questions. Thus, the person who picks the card has to find the person that the card describes. 4. “Fruit salad” Trainer: Dunja Pavlovic, student The game is used as an energizer. A circle of chairs is formed with one chair fewer than a total number of players. The volunteer stays at the centre of the circle. All the players are divided into three groups of fruit by going around the circle and named apple, orange or pear. The player who is 'in', calls the name of a fruit. If he calls out apples, everyone who is that fruit must get up quickly and change places. Players who are not apples remain seated. The person who is 'in' tries to sit in an empty spot whenever players swap positions. If they manage to sit in a chair, the player not sitting in a chair is then 'in'. The person in the middle can also call 'fruit salad' and everyone who is seated has to change spots. |
5. “The stickers”
Trainers: Mrs Maja Antic Jovanov, Ms Ivana Stojanovic Group: Teachers The aim of the game is finding out new personal information about our partners while having fun. Each participant chooses three stickers with the topics written on them. Then, they dance and circulate the room until the music stops. Then, they grab the first person next to them and talk about the topics they chose. The round repeats and the game is finished after all the participants had a chance to talk to each other. The last workshop was held together. |
6. “The Rainstorm”
Trainer: Mrs Maja Antic Jovanov
The aim of the game is the teambuilding.
Everyone sits quietly in a circle, with their eyes closed, waiting for the trainer’s first movement. The facilitator rubs their palms together to create the sound of rain. The person to their right makes this sound, and then the next person until everyone in the group is making the same sound. Once everyone is rubbing palms, the trainer makes the rain sound louder by snapping his/her fingers, and that sound, in turn, is passed around the circle. Then the trainer claps both hands together, and that sound is passed around the circle to create a rainstorm. Then the trainer slaps their thighs, and the group follows. When the trainer and the group stomp their feet, the rain becomes a hurricane. To indicate the storm is stopping, the trainer reverses the order, thigh-slapping, and then hand clapping, finger-snapping, and palm rubbing, ending in silence.

- After the workshops, the students stayed at school, took the photos with the LTT1’s mascot, “the Frame”, and left their handprints on “The Tree of Friendship” while, in the meantime, the teachers were taken to the Municipality of Bujanovac, where they were welcomed by the president of the Municipality of Bujanovac, Mr. Saip Kamberi.
- The partners then went sightseeing in Vranje where they had a chance to visit all the historical landmarks of the town and take the photos with the Frame. The six students from “Branko Radicevic” school were the guides, one per each sight. The first day activities were finished by summing up the impressions during the dinner.
2nd day
he partner schools were welcomed by the staff who works at SAF. There, they had a chance to see a couple of animated films made by their peers, hear the short history of one of the two schools for animated films in the world, and visit a small museum room where they could see the old equipment which was used by the filmmakers throughout history. Also, they had a workshop where they made a poster and some drawings.
After the visit, the students and the teachers were split.
Conference room at [email protected] Photography workshop
(for students) Trainers: Mrs Marija Stojkovic, Mr Sladjan Kitanovic The aim of the workshop was helping students express themselves in a way other than formal learning usually offered at our schools as a way of boosting their self-esteem. Thus, the students can discover their true potential or even, through their creativity, show the abilities they were never aware of which, furthermore, gives a sense of self-accomplishment and a positive picture of themselves. Each product results from the students’ growth of intrinsic motivation and a desire to learn more. The two-part-workshop itself consisted of the presentation given as a short introduction with the tips for taking some good photos and the various assignments where the students had to apply the tips. During the presentation, the students also helped other students translating and explaining so they had a chance for practicing language skills. Course on self esteem and safety
(for teachers) Trainers: Mrs Maja Antic Jovanov, Ms Ivana Stojanovic The course consisted of two presentations on both, self-esteem and safety. During the presentations, after defining the terms together, the teachers discussed and shared their experience in boosting students’ self-esteem to prevent ESL. The presenters, then, shared some material with the examples of the activities they use at their school as a way of helping students identify their problems and needs with the focus on their low self-esteem, as well as helping students get to the essence, discovering the importance of learning and education, and setting the real goals in front of themselves once they discovered their worth and abilities throughout the activities Briefing
During the briefing, the partners and the coordinators:

3rd day
Trip to the Besna kobila mountain

https://turistickavranje.rs/index.php/2018/11/19/besna-kobila-dobrodosli/
Having arrived at the mountain, the students and the teachers had an hour of hiking on the mountain, taking photos on the way. The weather conditions were perfect. They had a small tea break and then, the last two workshops ensued. Workshops Venue: “Besna kobila” mountain lodge I) “Motivation through the lens” workshop Trainers: Mrs Maja Antic Jovanov, Ms Ivana Stojanovic, Mrs Marija Stojkovic, Mr Sladjan Kitanovic The participants were introduced with the ultimate product of the students from “Branko Radicevic” school and also engaged in the project. They made “Motivation through the lens” guide of the places their guests had a chance to visit, the majority of which was painted by them. Each of the participants got the guide as a present and a bunch of photos printed as stickers. They were explained that they had to find the photos of them at the exact places and stick them on the page reserved for their photo memories. |

II) "Face your fear” workshop
Trainers: Mrs Maja Antic Jovanov, Ms Ivana Stojanovic, Mrs Marija Stojkovic, Mr Sladjan Kitanovic The main aim of the workshop is realizing that, with the support of others, we can easily face our greatest fear as a barrier stopping us from being happy and fulfilled. Fear has a great impact on our intrinsic motivation that ends up with no results, low self-esteem, and frustration even though we have potential. The trainer asks the participants to be silent for a moment, close their eyes and relax, take a deep breath and try to think about what they are afraid of, think of the things that distract them from the things they could be doing instead, holding them back, stopping them from being happy. Each participant takes a few moments and tries to define fear by writing it down on the wooden board. The trainer explains that worrying is not the solution. Somebody would say that it is easier said than done, but the point is that any action is better than no action at all. It’s upon us if we are going to do something about it. Then, the volunteer has to step out and place the board with its sides leaned on two wooden stools. The participant decides if she or he wants to read out the fear’s name, discuss it, or needs the group’s cheering or silence in order to focus before taking the action. The group either shouts the participant’s name as support or stays calm. The participant is instructed on how to break the board. At first, the volunteer is in disbelief, which is when the trainer and the rest of the group go on cheering even loudly, giving the participant the support until he or she singlehandedly breaks the board. Symbolically, fear is gone. Now, the participant is in disbelief again because he or she never believed it could be done, let alone it would be so easy.”How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.” - Judy Blume |
